This is an interesting place, as I walked in I was immediately reminded me of Transport at Fed Square. Modern, hip and busy, especially on a long weekend. The purists might not like it if they are expecting views over a vineyard or something a little more rustic.
We planted ourselves on a couple of stools at the hub, being the tasting bar and during our time we had three different people make sure we were being looked after, all extremely professional and knowledgeable. We sat and tasted their wines from Riedel glassware, then got peckish and ordered a cheese sampler plate. Gourmet wood fired pizzas kept whizzing past as we sat and immersed ourselves in the wine while listening to the staff explain the quality cheeses available to taste, which can also be wrapped up and taken away. Freshly baked sourdough loafs sit in baskets ready to be taken home and make a great accompaniment with your cheese. We finished off with a taste of Moscato and some of their homemade Turkish delight. Awesome!

This winery is located in great precinct with lots going on food and drink wise. We had a bite to eat here and the food made a great accompaniment to the wines. The Chardonnay was a stand out. There was a wine tasting event going on while we were there which was popular too. The experience lived up to the reputation.

One of my favourite places for lunch. In the warmer weather it is great to sit outside, as sometimes on weekends it can get very hectic and noisy inside.

The menu is extensive, however i normally end up choosing something from the wood fired pizza range. Nice wine menu , although one of my favourite things about Giant steps is that they have ice cold Trumer Pils from the tap which is perfect with pizza.

Staff are friendly and efficient despite it being very busy at times.

Great place to meet friends or family.
